Geweldige speelkleden.

Niet Scandinavisch (al zou de print wel uit Scandinavië kunnen zijn afgeleid), wel té leuk! Duez tapi kid zijn grote speelkleden voor kids vanaf 2 jaar. Je hebt ze in   4 verschillende ontwerpen. Ook de posters van Duez zijn mooi grafisch.

Not Scandinavian (although the print looks like Scandinavian) but I have to share this. The Duez tapi kid playmats are great for kids from 2 years old. You have 4 different designs. When you visit their website make sure you also look at their nice graphic posters.

Enorme kitsch maar wel grappig

Per stuk zou ik er persoonlijk niet heel snel voor vallen maar als je een verzameling bij elkaar zet zoals hier bij een van de Dos Family visits dan wordt het ineens weer heel leuk. Met name die huilende variant. Die's natuurlijk BRILJANT!
If I would come across one of these at a thrift shop I wouldn't be tempted to buy one. However, a collection of them as seen here in one of the Dos Family visits is very cute. Specially the one crying. That's the best!

Kinderkamer inspiratie, 2 keer totaal anders

Twee totaal andere maar beide vrolijke kinderkamer inspiraties uit Skona Hem. Bij de eerste spreekt de transparantie van het totaal beeld me erg aan en bij de tweede word ik vrolijk van het kastje wat geverfd is alsof het een konijnen hokje is. En als ik in die kamer het poppenhuis zie is mijn tip: verf em altijd wit!

Two different but cheerfull kids room inspirations from Skona Hem. Looking at the first I'm inspired by the transparent overall look. And the second image makes me smile. The cabinet painted as if it is a den of the rabbits. How cute it that! And if you have a dollhouse I would allways say paint it white after seeing this one. 

Kleurrijke woning

Dit is nou een vrolijke kleurrijke woning. Veelal aangebracht door accessoires al is de groene vloer in de hal ook wel echt een statement. Gespot in BoligMagasinet en gefotografeerd door Pernille Kaalund. En ik zal me voorlopig nog wel blijven afvragen hoe de voorraadkast van die zwevende planken kan hebben met dat gewicht van servies erop.
This is what I would call a nice colourful home. Mostly done with accessories althought the green floor is quite a statement in the hallway. I've found these images at BoligMagasinet and they're by Pernille Kaalund. I'm amazed by how the shelves can be like that with all the porcelain ware on them. That will keep me wondering for some time...

House calls door DosFamily

Ik kijk graag naar de binnenkijkers van DosFamily, de DosVisits. Het zijn meestal heel toegankelijke huizen met alledaagse inrichting en niet van die enorme design projecten. Dit appartement van Lovisa Witt is bijvoorbeeld een tijdelijke bewoning tot hun nieuwe huis klaar is. Nou, dan kan ik niet wachten om straks dat nieuwe huis ook te mogen zien. 

I love to look at the homes photographed by DosFamily, the DosVisits. Usually they are very inspirational everyday homes that don't have heaps and heaps of design objects in them. Like this appartment from Lovisa Witt. It is a temporary home until their new house is finished. If this is temporary I can't wait to see their new home once finished. 

Zwevende kast

Dit blijft een geweldige oplossing om het gevoel van ruimte te behouden. Een zwevende kast die je aan de muur bevestigd. Door de ruimte eronder blijft de vloeroppervlakte groot. Wat ik persoonlijk ook heel leuk vind zijn de fotoboeken die rechts in de kast staan. Deze zijn voorzien van een laagje retro behang.

It is one of my favourite solutions to cheat on space. Put a cabinet like this on the wall instead of on the floor. By keeping your floorspace clear you create so much optical space. I also really like the photo albums in the cabinet. They have been covered in a layer of retro wallpaper.

Een manier van nieuwe producten spotten die ik de afgelopen jaren veel heb gebruikt is de Deense woonbladen napluizen op nieuwe juweeltjes. De beurzen zijn een druk bewandeld traject en op deze manier kom je net iets uniekere items tegen. Nu ik met de webwinkel stop kijk ik wel met een heel ander oog maar het is nog steeds een feest om zo nu en dan een nieuw juweeltje te ontdekken. Zoals deze keramische producten van Pi Bjørg Ceramics. 

One of my ways to spot new products in the past few years has been looking at the shopping pages of Danish magazines. The tradefairs are also a good way but there you know that others will find the same products. By this you can find more unique items. Now that I've stopped my online shop I look with a different eye but I still can get very excited when I discover a new jem like the ceramic products by Pi Bjørg Ceramics.
