A day with Kate - shopping top 10

In de aanloop naar Sinterklaas en Kerst wil ik jullie wat van mijn persoonlijke favorieten laten zien. Dus her en der komt er een shopping top 10 tevoorschijn. Soms (zoals in dit geval) van onze sponsor A day with Kate en soms willekeurig wat ik online spot. Hopelijk haal je hier veel inspiratie uit en wat tips voor je eigen verlanglijstje.

De webshop A Day With Kate was een ontdekking die ik deed nadat zij mij volgden op Twitter. Ik kijk altijd even nieuwsgierig op sites van nieuwe volgers en hier werd ik meteen verliefd. Vandaag bij het opstellen van mijn top 10 werd die verliefdheid echt houden van toen ik ook nog eens zag dat ze de Ballab kussens hebben. Verder is het een geweldige 'one stop shop' waar je voor jezelf, kids, stationary, party decorations, kleding, accessoires, fotocamera's etc terecht kunt. Echt, echt een bezoekje waard.

Moving toward Christmas I want to show you my personal favorites in online shopping. Sometimes (like in this case) from one of our sponsors like the lovely A Day With Kate and sometimes from sites I visit and new items I spot and love. Hopefully this can be a source of inspiration for your own wishlist. 

The webshop A Day With Kate was a discovery I did after they started following me on Twitter. I'm always curious about new followers and often visit their websites. Een eenvoudige DIY

Heeft deze DIY klus van BoligLIV nog verdere uitleg nodig? Lijkt me voor zich te spreken. Ik ben dol op projecten als deze. Zeker sinds ik zo'n stans heb voor de rondjes.
Does this DIY by BoligLIV need any more explaining? Looks pretty easy to me. I love little projects like this one. Specially since I now own one of those circle cutters.

No room to be narrow minded here

Hoe zou het zijn om te wonen in het smalste huis van de wereld? The Keret House in Polen is op z'n smalste deel 92 cm en en 152 op het breedste deel. Gebouwd tussen twee gebouwen in. Daar waar wij denken een fietsgangetje denkt een architect 'zou een woning kunnen worden'. Bizar!
Imagine what it would be like to live in the worlds smallest (or narrowest) house. The Keret House in Poland has a minimum of 92 cm and a maximum of 152 cm width. Build between two buildings on a spot where most of us would think it's a pathway through and an architect thought 'that could be someones home'. Bizar! It may be a narrow house but you cannot be narrow minded to live here.

Dé Mademoiselle

Iedere keer als ik deze stoel voorbij zie komen ben ik weer blij dat ik naar de andere kant van het land ben gereden om hem via marktplaats op te halen. De Mademoiselle stoel van Tapiovaara is in het echt nog veel mooier dan op alle foto's.
Every time I see this chair in a photo I'm so pleased that I drove to the other side of The Netherlands to pick it up from a Marktplaats (Dutch craigslist) find. The Mademoiselle chair by Tapiovaara is even more beautiful than the pictures can show.

En als ik dan toch het pad van Kerst al ben ingeslagen.... kijk dan ook eens naar de nieuwe collectie van Darling Clementine. Die is zo mooi met de groene kaarten. Echt weer iets nieuws.
And as I've opened the door to Christmas posts online.... make sure you also check out the new Darling Clementine collection. I love the green cards. So fresh and new.

is it too soon?

Ik weet het, online eigenlijk nog iets te vroeg voor kerst inspiratie. Maar vandaag werd ik in de stad verblind door lampjes, glitters en veertjes. En toen zag ik zojuist op het blog van Ferm LIVING deze afbeeldingen en was ik niet meer te houden. Geweldige adventkalender! Mooi dat ie basic is en dat je zelf kunt kijken of je kleur, naturel of zwart/wit wilt gebruiken voor de pakketjes. Het kleed is dit jaar ook heel mooi. Toch jammer dat we in Nederland niet zoveel gebruik maken van kerst kleden.
I know... it's too soon! Online you don't find as much Christmas yet but in the stores today I was blinded by the lights, sparkles and feathers. Coming home and seeing this Ferm LIVING Christmas series on their blog I just had to start with Christmas on this blog. I love the advent calender. It's basic and you can add your own style either in colour, whites or naturals. And this rug is too cute. Unfortunately we don't really use many of these rugs under the tree in the Netherlands.

Mooi wit met een grapje en een tip

Een mooie selectie wit servies met het grappige eierdopje van Donna Wilson ertussen. Wat heeft zij een mooie collectie neergezet in de afgelopen jaren. En het servies is ook echt mooi van kwaliteit. Daarom was het een feest om gisteren te ontdekken dat de Bijenkorf online 30% korting heeft op veel van de Donna Wilson servies items. Niet leuk voor de andere retailers dat de Bijenkorf onder de prijs duikt maar wel heel fijn voor ons als consument.
A beautiful selection of white china with that funny cat eggholder by Donna Wilson. I admire her collection and love the ceramic items she has. How stoked was I to find out yesterday that Bijenkorf (Dutch warehouse) has a 30% discount on many of these items. Not so nice for the other Dutch retailers but oh so nice for us consumers.
