Cute storage solutions

Photography: Maree Homer / Styling: Erin Michael

I love a good storage solution and I love DIY additions so you can imagine my excitement when I saw these images at the Real Living magazine website. Unfortunately the one thing I don't have enough of is time. If you have more time on your hands you can click on the image of your favorite storage solution to find the Real Living tutorials.

P is for PLANT

Being in Singapore now means being surrounded by lushious greens. Something I was longing for when still in Holland with the winter dragging all the way through spring. This inspired me to do this P is for PLANT blogpost. The beautiful pictures are by House of Pictures in Denmark from their DIY inspirations.

I'm still here!

No new blogposts for quite some days now... What's going on? We're in Singapore now and very busy with unpacking, organizing, finding things, finding places to go to for your everyday necessities. And unfortunately this means not enough time left to find you the best inspirations online. But not to worry.... I'll be back REAL SOON!

A nice inspirational home

What a light inspirational home. Really like the mix of materials, colors, lamps, a touch of nature with the trees and the quirky artwork. Images by Stylist Myrica Bergqvist.

A nice headboard DIY by Isabelle McAllister

We all know I'm a fan from the DosFamily website. I miss their house tours but I love watching some of the clips by Isablle McAllister. Seen many of the over the top make overs of kids rooms done with the little room owners. And also really like this DIY headboard she's done for TV. It reminds me of the beautiful Poldersofa by Hella Jongerius. Click on the image below to find this clip. Hopefully I will be able to make something like this just by watching. My Swedish is not at all good.

Love for OK design furniture

After the blog with pastels from yesterday I feel like sharing the full collection of OK design from Denmark. Not at the least because I like the products also because I love the styling. Personally I only knew the Acapulco chair but I must say I LOVE the table shown in the pictures above.

In iedere foto staat wel een 'ja I would like to own!'.

Each image contains at least one 'yes, I would like to own' item. I wouldn't say no to this pink Muuto chair, you wouldn't hear a no when someone would offer me the glass bottle vase by Madam Stolz or would I object when this great color Acapulco chair would fall into my lap. A beautiful selection of products from a production by Femina.

As spring is not really happening outside (yet) I chose to search for it online. Jumping from one site to the other following some amazing links I found myself on the A Subtle Reverly blog where I saw this amazing DIY roze branch. Must admit I wouldn't make the combination with the candle (too much a chicken) but I would chose some beautiful vovits.

Three beautiful hangers for plants spotted in the Etsy shop HRUSKAA. What I love about them is that it isn't done in the macrame style but you immediately have the association. Modern style with large beads and a hint of Finnish Himmeli style.
