Dekbed eland

De nieuwe dekbedden van By Nord zijn binnen. Momenteel de eland in 1 persoons en binnekort ook in een twee persoons variant. We verheugen ons ook enorm op de nieuwe collectie die begin februari gepresenteerd zal worden. Met de eland en hert heb je al een leuke HIS en HERS te pakken.

The new bedding from By Nord has arrived. Beautiful 1-person bedding with a large moose image. Soon the 2-person will also be available. We can't wait to see the new collection that will be launched early February. With the moose and deer you have a nice HIS and HER set. 

Waar laat je toch al dat lego?

Spelen je kinderen ook zo graag met lego? Misschien wordt het opruimen ervan ook leuk met deze Mega lego blokken als opbergdoos. Ook die blokken onder het bed staan echt leuk! Gespot via het Zweedse blog Mamamekko. Een Nederlands verkooppunt heb ik nog niet gevonden maar je koopt ze o.a. hier of hier. 
Do your kids also love the play with lego. Maybe the cleaning up will be more fun also with these giant lego storage boxes. They also look very nice under your bed. Spotted on  the Mamamekko blog. I haven't found a Dutch selling point yet but you can buy them here or here.

Nog even een extra blik op de nieuwe collectie van Ferm LIVING. Hier een nieuw behang uit de collectie en naast de succesvolle Dorm letterbak nu ook een kleinere variant in wederom een prachtige poederachtige kleur.

Zweed meubels - mooi en modulair

Hoe geweldig zijn deze meubels van het Zweedse meubelmerk Zweed! Naar wens en gebruik in te delen en vervaardigd uit puur vakmanschap. De lage variant met her en der deurtjes zou mijn favoriet zijn voor een tv kastje. 

How great are these cabinets by the Zwedish furniture brand Zweed. I love the low one and would use this as a tv cabinet. Those are usually so ugly and this one I LOVE!

Nieuwe collectie Ferm LIVING sneak peak

De nieuwe collectie van Ferm LIVING komt bijna uit. De catalogus is gedrukt en de eerste sneak preview is gegeven op het blog van Ferm LIVING. De collectie is weer helemaal geweldig en zal de fans doen watertanden. Trine heeft geweldige nieuwe producten ontworpen en uitbereidingen van bestaande lijnen. Helaas mag ik nog niks laten zien. Maar spoedig zal de link naar de nieuwe catalogus bij Ferm LIVING actief zijn. 
It's almost there, the new collection by Ferm LIVING. The catalogue is running on the press and the first sneak preview is shown on the Ferm LIVING blog. You will love this new collection as Trine has come up with some great new products and extentions of existing lines. Unfortunately I cannot show you just yet. But soon the link to the new collection will be active on the Ferm LIVING website.

Stoelen, zo moeilijk of zo prijzig

Zoals jullie wellicht weten ben ik bezig aan ons nieuwe onderkomen. Een heerlijk licht huis met fantastisch Ferm LIVING behang en een mix van meubels (oud, nieuw, industrieel en design). Nu moet ik op zoek naar stoelen voor bij onze stalen eettafel. De uitgelezen plek om dan voor inspiratie te kijken is designstolar. Een Zweedse site vol met de meest prachtige stoelen. In deze image staan mijn persoonlijke favorieten. De grand prix van Arne Jacobsen en dining chair metal van Charles & Ray Eames.
As most of you may know we're busy in our new home. A wonderful light house with Ferm LIVING wallpapers and a mix of furniture (old, new, industrial and design). Now I am searching for new chairs to go with our industrial steel dining table. A good place to go for inspiration is the Swedish site designstolar. This images contains some of my favourites as the Grand Prix chair by Arne Jacobsen and dining chair metal by Charles & Ray Eames.

Servies sparen

Ik ben aan het sparen. Niet in klinkende euros zoals het eigenlijk zou moeten maar in dit prachtige Marimekko servies. Gisteren kwam een bestelling binnen uit Frankrijk. Waarom daar? Hun behang was een stuk goedkoper dan in Nederlandse online winkels. Zelfs met verzendkosten.
Nou hoop ik dat scherven geluk brengen want mijn mooie nieuwe schaal met zwarte stippen kwam in 6 stukken aan.
I'm saving. Not money as I probably should but this Marimekko kitschen collection. Yesterday an order I did arrived from France. Why buy Scandinavian tableware in France you wonder? Their wallpaper was much cheaper than in the Netherlands (20 euro difference). Even with shipment costs.
The thing is, my serving dish with black dots arrived broken in 6 pieces. So I hope it will bring me some luck.

Weer een mooie vonst!

Wat een vonst! Deze posters zijn geweldig. Ik ga kijken of ik ze voor Lille Lykke kan inkopen. Dan smokkel ik wel een klein beetje want ze komen origineel niet uit Scandinavie. Maar het thema wel... Mocht dat niet lukken dan laat ik weten waar ze vandaag komen. Te mooi zijn ze.


What a find! These posters are amazing. I'm going to find out if I can purchase them for Lille Lykke. It will be cheating a bit as they are not originally Scandinavian. But as the theme is I feel it's more or less allowed.... If I don't succeed I'll let you know where you can buy them.

Bijna verhuizen!

Nog een paar dagen klussen en dan kunnen de eerste grote dingen over. Tot op de dag van vandaag heb ik spijt dat ik op etsy niet deze oude borduurprent heb gekocht. Want wat had deze mooi gestaan in ons nieuwe huisje. Maar gelukkig heb ik er een foto van opgeslagen. Als ik dan straks knus met de beentjes opgetrokken op onze nieuwe bank zit dan kan ik misschien het borduurgaren erbij pakken.

Just a few more days and we'll be ready to move the first large items into our new home. I'm still sorry I didn't buy this vintage embroidery on Etsy. This would have looked very nice on one of the walls in our new home. But luckely I saved a picture and who knows. I might get creative with my feet on the couch one evening.

Vrolijke bedoeling

Dit interieur gefotografeerd door Stellan Herner voor Elle interior is een vrolijke circus achtige verzameling van spullen. Her en der een zorgvuldig geplaatst design stuk en met name veel briljante vonsten zoals de gezicht kussens, de ijzerdraad mobiel en de hal lamp. Je blijft kijken!
This cirque like interior was photographed by Stellan Herner for Elle interior. I love the bright colours and the mix of design and great little finds such as the smiling cushion, the dress lamp in the hallway and the wired mobile. You can keep looking and constantly find new things.
