In my own backyard… the Bloesem creative space

So far me not visiting the new Bloesem creative space in Singapore has not been a matter of no interest but absolutely a matter of lack of time. And by the looks of it it will soon be a matter of budget. As soon as I step into her shop I'll be lost and have to buy some of the items of designers we both adore like Fine Little Day, Keecie, Darling Clementine, Jurianne Matter, and so many more. I am also curious about her own hand woven pillows (image 1) as it seems she is using amazing colors. 

I feel fortunate living in Singapore and being able to visit her shop and enjoy her signature style and atmosphere. Must really shift into gear and make sure I go there in the next few days. Keep and eye on Instagram as I'll surely post images when I'm there.

Put a big X in your 2014 diary as on the 7th of February IKEA will launch a new designer collection called Bråkig. In a collaboration with the danish ArtRebels a line of beautiful products was designed. I love the simplicity of the wall storage with nice hooks to put either coats or cups. Coloring the tops of the FROSTA stool is one of the most done IKEA hacks so why not offer it in store... Clever thinking IKEA! And in my mind I've already found more than one nice spot of these little 130 x 170 cm rugs.

Genoeg te doen dit weekend

Oh wat heb ik al zin in de wintermarkt van MikoDesign. Zeker nu ook Muswerk en Jessica Nielsen mee doen. En onderschat het creatieve werk van Sofia, Mila, Eslin en Louiza niet. Vorig haar heb ik volgens mij met name van deze jonge creatievelingen gekocht. Na de Winter markt hoop ik ook nog even naar Swan Market te gaan in het museumpark in Rotterdam. Makkelijk te combineren dus als je niet in Rotterdam woont.

I'm so looking forward to visiting the Winter Market by MikoDesign. Specially now that she has joined up with Muswerk and Jessica Nielsen. Another not to under estimate group of participants are the young creatives Sofia, Mila, Eslin and Louiza. Last year I think I bought most of my goods from them. After the Winter Market I'm hoping to continue my shopping spree on Swan Market in the Museum park of Rotterdam. Easy to combine in one day if you're not living in Rotterdam but have to travel.

Wat zou het heerlijk zijn om NU de straten van Stockholm af te struinen. Dat geluk heeft Pauline van Petit Passport. En toen ik op haar blog deze geweldige stempels van Granit zag ben ik daar maar even in de digitale schappen gaan neuzen. Deze vier items zouden dan hoog op mijn kerst wensen lijstje komen. En hou Petit Passport in gedachten als je een stedentrip gaat maken. Ze heeft inmiddels al heel veel hot spots verzameld.

Wouldn't it be nice to be wondering the streets of Stockholm right now. At the moment we can follow Pauline of Petit Passport who is looking for the nicest things the city has to offer for her blog. I came across these great stamps from Granit and as I'm not there right now I chose to visit their online shelves. These four items would definately go on my Christmas wish list. And keep Petit Passport in mind next time you are planning a city trip. She has listed many hot spots already.
