I could live here

Wat een heerlijke inspiratie gespot bij Fjeldborg blog. Een gerenoveerd huis uit 1951 waar Vidgis woont samen met haar man Johan en drie kinderen. Een mix en match van oudere meubels met her en der een fris kleur accent, het grote prikbord met een fijne basiskleur die inhaakt op de kleur van het kastje en de op het eerste oog houten buitenstoelen die gezellig zijn gemaakt met schaapshuiden en fijne kussens. Je blijkt kijken en je blijft dingen zien. Het herinnert mij eraan dat het heerlijk is om te wensen voor mooie design meubelen maar dat je deze niet perse nodig hebt voor een warm en gezellig thuis.
What a great inspirational home on the blog of Fjeldborg. A renovated house from 1951 owned by Vidgis and her husband Johan and their three children. A mix and match of older furniture with clever additions of focus colors, a large mood board on the wall where you can put up children's craft work and your own favorite poster, and the wooden sturdy chairs in the living room that at first sight look like they should be for the outdoors but by adding sheep skins and nice pillows are great in the living room. It all reminds me that it is ok to dream about and desire beautiful designer furniture but you don't necessarily need it to create a warm home.

Deze week begin ik met een binnenkijker bij Kirra Jamison, een designer die we allemaal moeten leren kennen. Ze maakt prachtige frisse werken met fijne kleuren. Zou heel graag een kunstwerk van haar in huis hebben. Ook haar huis is een geweldige bron van inspiratie. Een fijne mix van oude en nieuwe items aangevuld met goed design (en dan weer net wel in fijne kleurtjes). Deze serie komt uit het blad FOUR magazine welke in beperkte oplage wordt uitgegeven via winkels in Charlotte (USA). Als je niet uit de regio komt is het mogelijk een abonnement of los nummer te bestellen via Bigcartel.
This week I would like to start a little peak in the home of Kirra Jamison, a great artist that we all should get to know. She makes amazing artwork with bright colors. I would love to have one of her artworks decorate our home. Her own house is also a great source of inspiration. A happy mix of old and new items combined with good design (of course again in desirable colors). This publication is from FOUR magazine. A quarterly publication that you can find in shops and galleries in Charlotte (USA). If you're not from that area there is a way to subscribe or order the latest issue via Bigcartel.

This just took my breath away

Ik hou van design (maar niet in de zin van dat mijn huis ermee vol staat). Ik hou van licht (maar verduister graag een kamer als er geslapen moet worden). Ik hou van kleur (niet als basis maar als accent). En ik hou van 'anders' (niet gezocht maar spontaan ontstaan). Dit huis ben ik via Pinterest tegen gekomen en toen ik de site van Ruy Teixeira bezocht en de aanvullende foto's zag kon ik bijna niet meer ademen. By far het mooiste wat ik ooit gezien heb. Waarom? Omdat het alle elementen in zich heeft waar ik zo ontzettend van hou.
I love design (but not in the sence that my home is overflown with it). I love light (but also like to darken a room when we take a nap). I love color (not as a basis for an interior but as an accent). And I love 'quirky' (not arranged but as a spontanious result of something). This home I first spotted on Pinterest and when I followed the link to the Ruy Teixeira site the additional photos just took my breath away. By far the most beautiful home I've ever seen. Why? Because it has all of the above.

Naar hartelust veranderen

Weer een fijn blog wat goed laat zien dat je interieur veranderen niet altijd hoeft te betekenen dat je allemaal nieuwe meubels hoeft te kopen. In dit geval zijn wat kleine aanpassingen en wat kleurrijke spuitbussen voldoende. Leuk om te zien hoe de stoelen en lampen keer op keer van kleur veranderen. Zowel de TOLIX als de TRIP TRAP.Here's another great blog showing that you don't have to buy all this new furniture to change your room. Look what results you get by just spraypainting chairs and lamps. Love it how they've also changed to colour of the kids chair TRIP TRAP as well as the TOLIX chairs.

Licht, ruim en sfeervol

Weer een heerlijk licht, ruim huis waarbij je ziet dat met een lichte basis de kleuraccenten en design elementen extra goed tot z'n recht komen. Een huis waarin niet iedere milimeter benut is. Men durft ook een grote ruimte met slechts enkele meubels in te richten. Geef een klein kind hier een driewieler en hij of zij heeft een paradijs. Er zijn ook geweldig leuke kinderkamers. Another beautiful, light and spacious home. Showing that a crisp white base is the key to bring out our colour accessories and design furniture. What I love about this home is that they aren't afraight to not overfill a room with furniture. They just put in what is needed and leave the rest as open space. Give a toddler a tricycle and they'll have a great playroom. There are also some great kids room that we've put up on our Lille Lykke KIDS blog.

Oh my.... wauw!

Ik heb het niet snel maar dit is een huis waarbij ik meteen zou zeggen ik laat al mijn bezittingen achter, neem partner en kindje mee en ga hier wonen. Wat een heerlijk, licht, fris, rustiek, uitnodigend huis. Het lijkt hier wel 365 dagen zomer. Gespot op Lighthouse Locations.
I don't get the feeling very often but for this house I would leave all my possessions, pick up my partner and our baby and live here. What an amazing light fresh rustic and warm welcoming house. It looks as if the sun shines 365 days a year. Spotted on Lighthouse Locations.

Een moderne kerst in Kopenhagen

Wat een heerlijk licht, vrolijk en creatief familie huis. Ik zou hier zo in kunnen trekken. Ware het niet dat de kinderkamer nog even omgetoverd zou moeten worden naar een baby variant. Maar de keuken, de tafel met stoelen, de bank, de kunst, het licht en zelfs de kerst decoraties zijn allemaal zeer naar mijn smaak. En het ziet er ook uit als een geweldige playground om als kind in op te groeien.
What a great light, cheerful and creative family home. I could just move in today! Ok, the kids room would have to be flipped into a nursery but that's all. I love the kitchen, the dining table and chairs, the artwork, the light and the Christmas decorations. And this also looks like a fun place for a child to grow up in.

Een heerlijk licht huis om van te dromen

Deze foto's komen van Annaleenashem en zij kan deze haar 'maandag snap shots' noemen. Nou, ik kan iedere maandag van de maand door mijn huis gaan maar deze shots krijg ik dan voorlopig nog niet voor elkaar. We wonen heerlijk maar wat een paleisje is dit.
These images are by Annaleenashem and she gets to call these her 'monday snapshots'. I can take you through our home every monday of the month and would not achieve this result. We have a great home but a long way to go (and long) if I look at these images. This is a palace!

House for sale in Gotenborg

Stel dat je op een makelaarssite zo'n huis tegenkomt. Dan zeg je toch tegen de huidige bewoners jullie hoeven niks te verhuizen ik neem het in z'n geheel over. Een leuk appartement met veel slimme opberg oplossingen. En het fantastische behang op de kinderkamer is van ISAK.
Imagine finding a home like this on a real estate site. I would let the current owners know they wouldn't have to move one thing, I would buy it as it is. A nice appartment with very clever storage solutions. And the fun wallpaper in the kidsroom is by ISAK.
