H e l l o F r i d a y - ARKET has arrived in the Netherlands! A Spring kitchen selection

There is a new kid in town! If that happens these days it almost goes un noticed. Until the 'new kid' is a store chain from Sweden. Than we wake up and go and explore. ARKET has launched their first Dutch store in Amsterdam at Koningsplein. A must visit next time I am in the capital city. For now I have made a selection of their online collection and added some fun Danish OYOY kitchen items. I love the instant spring vibes you get from this.

I like Winterbird

Winterbird... Een mooi en puur merk uit Zweden met uitsluitend Zweeds geproduceerde artikelen. Laat je verrassen door dienbladen, kleine plankjes en zelfs illustraties in tijdloze dessins. Door middel van de online winkel is dit merk gelukkig voor iedereen verkrijgbaar. Let wel... in beperkte oplages dus zie je iets moois aarzel dan niet en sla meteen toe.

Ik was al zo'n fan van de Blossom en Bill trays van Isak en daar kunnen deze geweldige houten snijplankjes van het Finse NAMA aan toegevoegd worden. En vergeet niet ook op het NAMA blog te kijken waar je getrakteerd wordt op nog meer fijne foto's en inspiraties.

Zo fijn dat een snijplank niet meer een saaie snijplank hoeft te zijn. Steeds meer leuke ontwerpers komen met fijne prints. Hierboven een selectie van mijn favorieten.

Mix, match en karakter in de keuken

We gaan komend jaar verhuizen en voordat we dat gaan doen gaan we (ja dit is geen echo) verhuizen. In het appartement in Rotterdam zijn we bezig voor een nieuwe keuken. Waarschijnlijk een vrij standaard witte IKEA keuken met wat leuke eigen aanvullingen. Maar oh oh oh wat ga ik twijfelen als ik dan weer zo'n losse elementen keuken zie. Een heerlijke ratjetoe met 100% karakter.
Next year we're moving house, twice! For our appartment in Rotterdam I'm looking for a simple but nice new kitchen. It'll probably become a basic white IKEA kitchen but oh my I start to doubt when I see a kitchen like this. Mix and match and 100% character.
