Natuurlijk geen must voor je interieur maar wel pure verwennerij. Wij zijn gezwicht voor het uilen kussen. En zoals je ziet is het 101 woonideeën shopping nieuws er ook fan van!

Of course it is not a must for your interior but we consider it a great treat to yourself. We've gone for the owl cushion. As you can see the 101 woonideeën (magazine) is also a fan!
Via het designlovefest kom ik op de General store. Mooie houten producten en mijn oog valt meteen op deze blokken met harlequin dessin. Terug te vinden in het remix behang van Ferm LIVING en diverse andere producten komend seizoen. Mooie blokken, kosten wel 200 dollar voor de kleine en 300 dollar voor de grote. Is het dan kunst? Of iets wat ik liever zelf ga maken? Ik wil de ontwerper zeker niet beledigen maar soms raak ik de verhouding tussen prijs en object een beetje kwijt.
From the designlovefest I take a left turn to the General store. Beautiful mostly wooden products and the blocks immediately cought my eye. The dessin is similar to the remix wallpaper by Ferm LIVING and several other products you will see on shelves the coming year. Nice blocks. But prices vary from 200 dollar for the small one to 300 dollar for the large one. Is it art? Of something I would much rather make myself? I don't wish to insult the designer but sometimes the balance between price and object is lost for me.
Ik ben dol op het circus thema. Je moet wel even zoeken als je vintage spullen wilt scoren voor het opleuken van je interieur maar dan heb je ook wel wat! Deze geweldige (poolse) posters kwam ik tegen op het blog Trendey. Beetje prijzig dat wel. Maar met wat zoeken op sites als Etsy en Ebay kom je ook hele leuke tegen hoor!
I love the circus theme. It takes a little searching if you want to find nice vintage things. These great (Polish) posters were spotted on the Trendey blog. But they're quite pricey (250 dollars). Just have to keep on searching on sites such as Etsy and Ebay.

Spelen je kinderen ook zo graag met lego? Misschien wordt het opruimen ervan ook leuk met deze Mega lego blokken als opbergdoos. Ook die blokken onder het bed staan echt leuk! Hoe geweldig zijn deze meubels van het Zweedse meubelmerk Zweed! Naar wens en gebruik in te delen en vervaardigd uit puur vakmanschap. De lage variant met her en der deurtjes zou mijn favoriet zijn voor een tv kastje. How great are these cabinets by the Zwedish furniture brand Zweed. I love the low one and would use this as a tv cabinet. Those are usually so ugly and this one I LOVE!
De nieuwe collectie van Ferm LIVING komt bijna uit. De catalogus is gedrukt en de eerste sneak preview is gegeven op het blog van Ferm LIVING. De collectie is weer helemaal geweldig en zal de fans doen watertanden. Trine heeft geweldige nieuwe producten ontworpen en uitbereidingen van bestaande lijnen. Helaas mag ik nog niks laten zien. Maar spoedig zal de link naar de nieuwe catalogus bij Ferm LIVING actief zijn.

Zoals jullie wellicht weten ben ik bezig aan ons nieuwe onderkomen. Een heerlijk licht huis met fantastisch Ferm LIVING behang en een mix van meubels (oud, nieuw, industrieel en design). Nu moet ik op zoek naar stoelen voor bij onze stalen eettafel. De uitgelezen plek om dan voor inspiratie te kijken is designstolar. Een Zweedse site vol met de meest prachtige stoelen. As most of you may know we're busy in our new home. A wonderful light house with Ferm LIVING wallpapers and a mix of furniture (old, new, industrial and design). Now I am searching for new chairs to go with our industrial steel dining table. A good place to go for inspiration is the Swedish site designstolar. This images contains some of my favourites as the Grand Prix chair by Arne Jacobsen and dining chair metal by Charles & Ray Eames.
