Oyoy wat mooi!

Onlangs hoorde ik iemand zeggen 'ik ga niet meer op je blog kijken want het kost me veel teveel geld'. En ook dat Lille Lykke nog steeds als een van de eerste nieuwe dingen weet te spotten. Fijne complimenten want dat betekend dat ik in een blogland van steeds meer vergelijkbare collega's toch nog steeds de krenten uit de pap weet te spotten. Zoals ook dit merk: OYOY uit Denemarken. Het liefst zou ik meteen in het scherm kruipen om onder het honeycomb dekbed te kruipen, wat van die mooie Japanese cushions live te zien en wat kerstelfjes aan te schaffen.
Recently someone told me 'I'm not going to visit your blog for a while cause it is costing me too much money'. And a little while later I heard that Lille Lykke is still the first with new discoveries in a blogland with many similar collegues. Nice compliments that I take pride in as it means I still know to find new treasures. Such as this brand: OYOY from Denmark.

Inpakken kan nu nóg leuker!

Met de tape van RIO RIO uit Zweden krijg je zin om alles te beplakken. En ook het papier uit dezelfde collectie is te mooi om alleen als inpakpapier te gebruiken. Gelukkig laten ze op hun site dan ook allerlei fijne inspiraties zien van inpakken, inlijsten, huisjes vouwen etc etc. Op Pinterest heb ik een leuk giftwrapping en masking tape board voor nog meer inspiratie.

Looking at the tape by RIO RIO from Sweden I just want to tape up everyting. And the paper from the same collection is also to beautiful to use just for giftwrapping. Luckely they show various ideas and inspirations on their website for usage such as giftwrapping, framing, foulding little houses etc. etc. You can find more giftwrapping and masking tape inspiration on my Pinterest boards.

We kennen de fijne posters en kussens al van Mini Empire uit Zweden maar nu komen daar ook nog geweldige ceramic producten bij. Ik zie er zo al drie waar ik heel gelukkig van kan worden. Gespot op Formex en hopelijk snel in de winkels. 

We already know the great posters and pillows by Mini Empire from Sweden and now they've extended their range with amazing ceramic products. I see three that I would like to add to my collection already. Spotted on Formex fair and hopefully very soon available in stores.

Sometimes we play on Instragram

Soms komen er op Instagram uitdagingen voorbij waar je gewoon aan mee wilt doen. Zoals deze... Vorm het woord LOVE in vier letters met dingen uit je omgeving. Bij mij werd dat de knuffel van mijn zoon, onze grote zeer handige parasol, mijn 12 jaar oude 'witte' havaianas en gevlochten gras omdat mijn zoontje dat zo'n 10x per dag probeert te eten. om te zien wat de rest heeft verzonnen zoek je op #lovein4pics.
Sometimes you get a challenge on Instragram that you just want to join. Like this one... Form the word LOVE in four letters using images of everyday things. I used the rabbit from my baby boy, a huge umbrella that provides shade in warm days, my 12 year old 'white' havaianas and braided grass that my boy tries to eat about 10 times a day. More bright and cheerful eye candy

Van de collectie van Castle and Things is het niet moeilijk om vrolijk te worden. Kleurrijke boogjes, letters en neon stippen, je vindt het allemaal terug in de producten. Evenals Harvest Textiles (blog van gisteren) is Castle and Things een fijne Australische ontdekking.

Mijn laatste ontdekking via Instagram is het Australische Harvest Workroom. De creatieve studio van Jess, Emma, Lara and Frances waar ze workshops geven en prachtige stoffen bedrukken. Op Harvest Textiles zie je deze terug in producten. Zie je iets mooie ben er dan snel bij want voor je het weet zit je tegen een 'uitverkocht' aan te kijken.
My most recent discovery via Instagram is the Australian Harvest Workroom. A fabric printing studio by Jess, Emma, Lara and Frances where you can also follow workshops. A girls day out

Afgelopen zondag ben ik met Anki (Zilverblauw) en Yvonne (Yvestown) naar de Dawanda Designmarket geweest in Amsterdam. De launch van de Nederlandse tak van een verzamelsite voor handgemaakte producten van diverse shops. Georganiseerd in een hotel waarbij de shops verdeeld waren over de kamers van vier etages. Erg leuk concept en veel te veel leuke shops! Zo ook Heute Schmidt waar bovenstaande producten van zijn. Op Instagram (LILLELYKKE) staan meer foto's gemaakt gedurende de dag. Eentje die we vol lol hebben afgesloten bij Restaurant AS met Philomeen en Desiree.

This saturday I had a girls day out with Anki (Zilverblauw) and Yvonne (Yvestown) to the Dawanda Designmarket in Amsterdam. It was the launch of the new Dutch branch of the German Dawanda handmade online marketplace. The event was organized in a hotel where over four floors the shops got hotelrooms to transform to their shop for the day. Great concept and way too many nice shops! Like Heute Schmidt of whom I'm showing some products above. More images of this great day can by found on Instagram (LILLELYKKE). Our girls day out got a great finale with loads of fun and great food at Restaurant AS with Anki, Yvonne, Philomeen and Desiree.

Eens een stoel poot...

Pas dit jaar afgestudeerd aan de Bergen National Academy of the Arts en nu al zo'n prachtige ontwerpen in productie genomen door Discipline. De Re Turned vogels zijn gemaakt van 100% gerecycled Noors hout. Dus eens dienst gedaan als stoel poot, tafel blad of deur en nu met liefde bewerkt tot een mooie design vogel. Er zijn verschillende prachtige modellen die je nu al kunt bewonderen op de site van Lars Beller.

illustration love

Ik heb een zwak voor mooie illustraties. Dat zie je op mijn Pinterest 'Great illustrations' pagina. Met het idee om thuis weer wat veranderingen door te voeren kwam ik op de IKEA site deze stof tegen. Leuk voor gordijnen op de slaapkamer van mijn zoontje. Na wat verder zoeken kwam ik op de website van de ontwerpers van de stof deze geweldige afbeeldingen uit de portfolio tegen.
I have a weak spot for nice illustrations. You'll see what I mean when you visit my 'Great illustrations' Pinterest page. Thinking about doing some changes to our house I came across this fabric on the IKEA website. Nice to make curtains for my baby boy. After some more clicks online I found the website of the illustrators and their amazing portfolio.
